Jom Jam Drums!

This year HANDS adds a little more scope to their annual student concert series, ‘Drum Slices’. Kaleidoscope is intended as a learning festival for drummers, percussionists or for any music enthusiast for that matter. It opens with a drumming competition for primary school kids and a series of workshops by HANDS, Hands Gamelan Group, Wadaiko Syo, Mokaba Art Group and Dhol Federation. Highlights of the festival are performances by these same groups, as well as Kencana Putra, a traditional Malay drumming group; Deafbeat from the YMCA and drummers from several schools under HANDS tutelage. Having various drumming troupes participate, each with its own experience, makes it a great way to share, and to learn skills and knowledge, for both participants and contributors. Moreover, having different groups of people together will create ‘sparks’ which will ignite into a wonderful fun learning experience for all concerned. We hope this first festival of ours will set a trend for our ever challenging artform.

六月鼓艺节，让生活来场万花鼓宴！

宇宙欠缺空气，即使大爆炸也宁静无音；

真正看表演的话是12号晚上，13号和14号的下午晚上其中一场，有RM38、58和72的～
10号的是全国小学观摩赛Rm22
还是你问的10号到14号是workshop？
